About our Principal
Mrs. Heather Langley has been a dedicated educator in the Cottonwood-Oak Creek School District for 20 years and has been part of Mountain View Preparatory since its inception. Throughout her career, she has worn many hats, beginning as a 5th-grade teacher before moving to 1st grade and ultimately finding her greatest joy in teaching kindergarten. Her passion for early learning and literacy led her to become MVP’s Title I reading specialist, where she worked closely with students to build strong foundational skills. She later served as vice principal before stepping into the role of principal in 2023.
Mrs. Langley is a proud graduate of Yavapai College, earning her Associate of Arts in 2003 before completing her Bachelor of Arts in Education at Northern Arizona University in 2005. She continued her educational journey at NAU, earning a Master’s in Educational Leadership in 2022. She holds endorsements in reading and early childhood education in the state of Arizona, further emphasizing her commitment to student success. With a deep love for MVP and its students, Mrs. Langley is honored to lead the school and support its mission of fostering a lifelong love of learning.
