Hands-On Learning in Mrs. Bivanco's 2nd Grade Class! In Mrs. Bivanco's class, students recently dove into a fun, creative project that blended history and STEM! Inspired by the War of 1812, they set sail into a boat-building adventure. Using their imagination and problem-solving skills, the class designed and built their own boats—plus, they added a bear twist! This hands-on experience not only brought history to life but also sparked creativity and teamwork. Ms. Young's PE Safety Tip: Crocs? Not So Much! Our amazing PE teacher and Athletic Director, Ms. Young, has a strong opinion about Crocs in PE class. While they might be comfy, they aren’t the best choice for physical activities. They can be slippery, offer little support, and might lead to injuries. We want every student to be safe and ready to move, so please, make sure your child wears proper athletic shoes to PE!
