That’s why we’re excited to share that we’ve partnered with Cartwheel, a trusted mental health provider for K-12 schools, to bring additional support to our students and families.
Through Cartwheel, our students and families have rapid access to telehealth services, including:
✅ 1:1 therapy
✅ Medication evaluation & management
✅ Parent guidance
✅ Family therapy
If you think your child could benefit from these services, please reach out to a member of our school counseling team.
Together, we can help our students thrive—academically, emotionally, and socially. 💬✨

Today was an exciting day for our Kindergarteners as they had their very first safety lesson with Officer Roger!
With his bright badge and friendly smile, Officer Roger taught the children all about crosswalk safety, car safety, and how to stay safe when walking near roads. The kids learned:
1. How to Stop, Look, and Listen before crossing the street
2. What crosswalk signs and signals mean
3. Why seatbelts are super important in the car
4. How to spot a safe place to cross with an adult
We’re so grateful to Officer Roger for helping our little learners become Safety Stars!

Mrs Ozuna 's third grade classroom had a blast reading "What Took You So Long?" by Mélanie Watts! After enjoying the story, they each drew their own version of the bunny and painted it with watercolors.
Every bunny turned out full of color and personality, just like the students themselves!

First Week of Art Class Magic!
Ms. Estrella kicked off her very first week at MVP with a splash of creativity! Not only did our students dive into some hands-on fun, but a brand-new artistic crew was born — the Post-It Club!
These imaginative boys turned a regular table into a full-blown Post-It masterpiece during class. We’re talking patterns and BIG creative energy!
Way to go, artists! We can’t wait to see what the Post-It Club dreams up next!

Mrs. Bivanco's 2nd graders are off to a great start this year!
They created friendship bracelets to celebrate connection and community, and worked together to build a Classroom Contract — a list of promises about how we treat each other with respect, kindness, and responsibility.
These young learners are already showing what it means to be great classmates and great friends. #MountainViewPreparatory #HomeoftheOcelots #SecondGradeStrong #FriendshipFirst #MrsBivancosClass #ClassroomCommunity

Mountain View SRO Roger Scarim is out in the community reminding everyone: school is back in session, and that means more kids near crosswalks, sidewalks, and school zones.
Children can run out unexpectedly — chasing a ball, waving to a friend, or just excited for the day. Please slow down, stay alert, and be extra cautious, especially near schools and neighborhoods.
Let’s work together to keep our kids safe this school year!
